Today’s post is dedicated to this beautiful rose gold eyeshadow look that is filled with lots of warm-toned colors and perfect for Spring and Summer days wherever you are!

This is a really soft and bright look for Spring and Summer, especially!

After priming my eyelids, I applied the Milani Shadow Eyez 12 Hour Wear Eyeshadow Pencil in “Champagne Toast”, a metallic pinky beige, all over my eyelids to help each of the eyeshadows I am going to be going in with stand out even more.

Swatches from Left to Right: Milani “Champagne Toast”, BECCA  Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in “Rose Gold”, MAC “All That Glitters”, MAC “Brown Script”, and MAC “Soft Brown”

Next, I put some MAC “Soft Brown”, a must-have matte peachy-brown, upward and outward into my crease like always so that everything blends seamlessly.

The star of this eyeshadow look is actually the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in “Rose Gold”. Even though this is a cheek highlighter, it makes a highly pigmented shimmery eye shadow and is such a beautiful true rose gold shade. You can apply this product with your finger or a brush as long as you make sure to take it from the inner corner all the way to the outer corner so it covers the entire eyelid. (Since this is very pricey, L’Oreal’s “Amber Rush” eyeshadow is also an amazing quality eyeshadow, just a different shade of rose gold).

When creating this eyeshadow look, I wanted it to be very warm, so I added a warm red-brown called MAC “Brown Script” to my upper outer crease with a more precise brush.

Lastly, I  used a damp flat shading brush to pat MAC “All That Glitters” to the very center of my eyelid. This is a really pretty shimmering champagne shade and when you apply it damp it gives a stunning glow that really opens up the eyes for spring and summer, ceating a subtle yet bright halo effect.I decided not to include the rest of my face makeup in this post because this eye look is so versatile that it really works with anything and everything! So have fun experimenting with this and I hope you enjoy!

RoseGoldHaloEyeshadowForSpringAndSummer

This rose gold eyeshadow look is noticeably brighter in the center of the eyelid, making it perfect for summer because of the subtly halo effect. As you can see from my photo, you can easily make this look more defined and dramatic by adding liner and darkening the outer corner and crease!

XOXO,
Makena
