Effortless and wearable are two very important words when it comes to back-to-school beauty, which is why I am so excited to share with you the perfectly effortless and wearable lip combo I have been loving lately.

I start my sophomore year of college on Monday and although I do enjoy wearing a full face of makeup and looking glamorous, I also appreciate quick and easy-to-use products, which is why I think the Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner in ‘Dusty Rose’ paired with the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in ‘Petal’ will be my go-to combination for busy school mornings!

These Sugar Lip Treatments are a wonderful to wear to class because they protect lips from the sun with SPF 15, and are extremely comfortable and moisturizing thanks to their plethora of nourishing vitamins and oils. ‘Petal’ is a sheer yet buildable pinky-nude with warm undertones.

Although this looks and feel luxurious and lovely when worn on its own, I think it performs much better when paired with my favorite drugstore lip liner. Not only does the liner enhance the shape of my lips, but it also enhances the color of the lip balm, making the soft pink sheen more pigmented. Lining the lips significantly extends the longevity of the lip color and prevents it from bleeding, which means there is no need for  me to reapply in the middle of English class.
