~My Recommendations~

Here are 15 of my all-time favorite beauty products, including skincare and makeup. I made sure each of these picks are versatile and would work well on any skin type, and I cannot say enough amazing things about them.

I also want to note that no one ever needs more makeup or should ever feel pressured to shop. Although I do earn a small commission when someone purchases a product through my affiliate links, I choose to share my favorites because it makes me happy to talk about products I love, and I would have found similar posts so helpful when I was starting out with makeup.

Volition Beauty Celery Green Cream ($55): This is a lightweight yet hydrating gel moisturizer with celery seed extract, hyaluronic acid, and peptides, and it works with any skin type. I haven’t found a primer I love, so I use this as a skincare and primer hybrid before my makeup because it makes my skin, especially my pores, look and feel incredibly smooth.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops ($34): Skincare meets makeup with this lightweight serum. Niacinamide reduces discoloration, dullness and pores, while hyaluronic acid maintains hydration to prevent signs of aging. I enjoy applying it all over my face before makeup and on the tops of my cheekbones after. It makes my skin feel and look plump and oh so dewy.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask ($25 – $48): An iconic mask and one of my most reached-for skincare items, this is an amazing overnight mask before bed and primer before makeup. It deeply hydrates for soft, bright skin.

Fresh Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash ($15 – $69): Everyone needs an effective cleanser with clean, quality ingredients, and this is my favorite. I have dry, acne-prone, and sensitive skin, and this is so gentle and hydrating. It has soy proteins, which promote elasticity, and cucumber and rosewater, which are calming. I recommend getting the largest possible size to save money long term.

Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation ($40): This foundation quickly became one of my all-time favorites. I think it would work for almost all skin types and occasions because it has a natural, skin-like finish — not matte but not dewy — with medium coverage. I can sheer it out with moisturizer or liquid illuminator, I can build it up, and it looks flawless throughout the day.

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation ($49): When I’m going for a more glamorous makeup look, I always reach for this foundation because it is full coverage and long lasting, has a slightly luminous finish, and looks like my skin but way better. It comes in a lot of shades and would work well with all skin types.

Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer ($36): With so many amazing drugstore concealers, I typically don’t splurge in this category, but I have loved using this one. It is medium-to-full coverage with a natura finish. Unlike other more full-coverage concealers, this looks and feels hydrating under my eyes, which I love.

Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush ($40): I have been very into blush lately, and although I prefer a drugstore option, I do think this formula is worth the price. It’s pigmented without being overpowering and has the prettiest finish, with the inner pop shade also doubling as a highlighter. I have ‘Pillow Talk,’ a pinky nude shade.

Milk Makeup Matte Cream Bronzer ($30): You all know bronzer, especially cream bronzer, is my favorite, and this is by far one of the best I have tried — definitely right up there with my Chanel. It looks so natural and blends so easily. I wear the darker shade, ‘Blaze.’

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($45): So many people rave about this product, and now that I’ve tried it, I completely understand why. It offers sheer, tinted coverage with a lit-from-within glow that is 100% worth the price. I can wear it all over my face without foundation, under my foundation, mixed in with my foundation, and top of my foundation as a highlighter.

Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Eyeshadow Palette ($48): I’ve never been drawn to an all matte eyeshadow palette before this one, but it was an amazing addition to my collection. They are semi-opaque but buildable, and they blend out so easily, meaning they are beginner friendly. The range of timeless neutrals are great for both everyday and dramatic looks, and think everyone needs it!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick ($34):  For Christmas, I received a ‘Pillow Talk’ lip set, and I finally understand what all of the hype is about. I don’t typically invest in lipsticks, but this is the most creamy, luxurious formula ever. The neutral pink is universally flattering, and I love the way it looks with more dark, brown lip liners.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner ($22): I initially tried the shade ‘Pillow Talk,’ but I couldn’t appreciate the formula because the shade didn’t show up on my lips. When I purchased, ‘Iconic Nude,’ however, I instantly fell in love not only with the neutral-toned nude but also with the lasting power. This stays on my lips for the entirety of my work day even after eating and drinking, making it worth every penny.

Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($19): I honestly didn’t realize just how much I loved this lip gloss until I lost mine. It is perfectly pigmented and great for layering with other lip products, it lasts a decently long time, and it isn’t too sticky. I had the shade ‘Fussy,’ a shimmering pink, but they all look stunning.

Beautyblender ($20): Makeup sponges aren’t the most exciting beauty product to spend money on, so I always repurchase mine during the sale. I honestly do not know how to do my makeup without one, so for me, they are worth the price.
