Pinterest has always been my most used social media platform — it is filled with so many inspiring photos! Today, I thought it would be fun to recreate a few of my favorite summery makeup looks from Pinterest, so enjoy!

Gold Halo Eye & Peachy Lip

As soon as I came across this gorgeous look on Pinterest, I knew I had to recreate it; I love all of the details and the subtle vintage vibe is so amazing! To begin, I first applied the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, which offers medium coverage with a more luminous finish. After concealing any problem areas, I simultaneously bronzed and contoured with my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer since it is such a versatile shade of brown. I highlighted the highpoints of my face with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in ‘Opal’, a pearlescent gold, focusing especially  on the center of the cheekbone. To create the perfect warm bronze eye, I used the original Urban Decay Naked Palette, blending ‘Buck’ through the crease, patting ‘Smog’ all over the lid, and popping ‘Half Baked’ in the very center. After brows and mascara, I am overlining my lips with the NYX Retractable Lip Liner in ‘Nude’ and applying NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘Stockholm’ – a lovely peach tan color.

Rose Gold Smokey Eye

If you are familiar with my blog, then you know I am obsessed with metallic rose gold eyeshadow! For my transition shade, I used my holy grail MAC ‘Soft Brown’ in crease and outer corner since it is the loveliest matte pinky beige. After blending ‘Twinks’, a deep plummy brown with a satin finish, in the outer corner, I pressed the ColourPop Pressed Powder Eyeshadow in ‘High Strung’, a shimmery rosy copper, all over my lid. To mimic the brightness in the center, I applied ‘Ego, a pinky champagne, with a damp flat brush for an intense metallic pop. To finish off, I tight lined and added lots of mascara.

Glamorous Bronze Glow

This makeup look is absolutely beautiful and very me; lately it seems like this has been all over Pinterest and I could not be more happy about it! For natural yet flawless looking skin, I am applying the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation, Which has amazing coverage with a dewy finish. I am highlighting under my eyes, the center of my forehead, and my chin with my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and bronzing the perimeter of my face with the NYC ‘Sunny’ Smooth Skin Bronzer’. For a touch of shimmering coral on the cheeks, I chose the Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting Blush in ‘I Wil Always Love You’ before I highlighted with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in ‘Champagne Pop’. For my eyes, I reached for my favorite Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette, blending ‘Puree’ in the crease, ‘Luscious’ on the lid and inner corner, ‘Peach Pit’ on the outer corner and lash line, and ‘Charmed’ on the lower lash line. To achieve her pretty pinky nude pout, I used my signature Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick in ‘Bare It All’followed by the Maybelline Color Elixir Lip Gloss in ‘Caramel Infused’.

  1. Wow!!! I love these. You did such an amazing job with these looks, I love the first one!

    • Thank you so much for reading, I love that one too. I have seen so many bloggers recreate Pinterest outfits (yours are definitely the best!!!), but even when I researched it, I didn’t see anyone recreate makeup looks, so I thought this would be fun! It tooks such a long time to plan everything out and take all the photos, so I really admire how much effort goes into each of your recreations. xoxo Makena

You are just so pretty and your skin, how do keep it in such a good place?

    • Hey, girl! Thanks so much for reading my blog and the sweet compliment, I really appreciate it! I’ve actually struggled with acne for several years, so that means a lot to me. To be honest, I did use the healing tool in iPhoto to edit out a few blemishes, but I always take extra good care of my skin. Cleaning, exfoliating, and moisturizing are all so important. If you would like, I can work on a skincare routine blog post? If you ever have any questions or requests, please feel free to ask! xoxo

      • Reen says:

Aw girl thank you and I def will 🙂 I have been through the same, my skin cleared up entirely for 2 years but now slowly but surely cystic acne has taken over my face despite all the skincare and attention and lines are starting to make the way too, it just not good overall. good skin is a blessing.

        • Cystic acne is seriously the worst, but always know that you are never alone and that you are beautiful inside and out! Have a great day! Btw, do have any blog post requests? I’d love to create the content you would love to read! xoxo

          • Reen says:

You are right and that’s what I try to always keep in mind and have a positive attitude overall. You are such a sweetheart tho . As per blog post requests, it would be nice if you shared your personal tips on how to grow your following on Instagram. I know all the basics but it would be a great read for everyone who’s working on building their following.

          • Thanks so much for the idea and I’ll definitely keep that in mind, but honestly I don’t think I’m the best person to talk about Instagram followers. I’ve stayed around 375 for what seems like forever and I have no idea how to get followers. Thanks though!

          • Reen says:

Aww, that’s okay, you can maybe do a post on the struggles that’s what I have done for the blog recently as well.

  3. Reen says:

Hey, in my last post I nominated you for an award.
