I never need an excuse to get all dolled up, but attending a wedding is always a good one anyway! In today’s post, I am teaching you how to achieve this understated yet elegant makeup look, ideal for attending all of those summer weddings. I also want to mention that I specifically created this look to complement not only all skintones, eye colors, and hair colors but also all clothing colors.

{SKIN}

After moisturizing my lips with the Laneige ‘Grapefruit’ Lip Glowy Balm, I prepped my skin for makeup with my new Volition Beauty Celery Green Cream* (review here), which minimizes my pores and leaves me extra smooth and hydrated. For a glowy, lit from within base, I mixed the L’oréal True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer in ‘Light’, a soft rosy shade, with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter in ‘Rose Gold’. For added warmth and definition, I carved out mt cheekbones, jawline, and temples with the Ulta Beauty Face Sculpting Color Stickin ‘Deep Cool’. To create the illusion of flawless skin, I combined two pumps of my NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in ‘Vanuata’ with the tiniest drop of my Farsáli Rose Gold Elixir 24k Gold Infused Beauty Oil. Despite its name, this foundation is less dewy and more full coverage than the ones I typically wear, so adding this oil sheers it out while rendering it even more luminous and skin-like.

{CHEEKS}

‘After applying my usual concealer, setting powder, and brow powder, I can move onto the cheeks. To avoid a flat looking face, I went in with my Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer in ‘Deep’, which has a matte finish, followed by my Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer in ’25I – Soft Iridescent Cinnamon’, which has a natural sheen, along the perimeters of my face. For a warm-toned tan color, ‘Terracotta’ from my new Ulta Peach Pop Blush Palette is the perfect choice. Lastly, I popped on the peachy rose gold shade from the right side of the Pixi Glow-y Glossamer Highlighter Duo in ‘Delicate Dew’.

{Eyes}

Since this look focuses more on my skin and I am wearing a more boldly colored dress, I decided to keep my eyes simple and elegant, with no harsh lines. The main product I am using is my holy grail MAC ‘Soft Brown’ Eye Shadow — a matte beige with pink undertones. I blended this all over the crease as my transition shade but then darkened it up through my crease, outer corner, and lashline. For a soft, diffused look, I blended out the Sephora Collection 12hr Colorful Contour Eyeliner in ‘Cocoa’, a shimmery dark brown, with a q-tip, extending it for a subtle wing shape. I applied a touch of my recently purchased Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow in ‘Reflect’ for a pop of rose gold on my lower lashline. I also applied the Eyelure x Fleur de Force ‘Simply Fleur’ False Lashes as a believable way to to enhance my natural features.

{LIPS}

For a light and neutral lip combo, I slightly overlined my lips with the MAC ‘Whirl’ Lip Pencil and then applied a few swipes of my new MAC ‘Honeylove’ Matte Lipstick (review here), a light beige with warm undertones. For the final touch, I dabbed a small amount of the Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper in ‘Nude Shimmer’, a more metallic champagne gloss, on the very center of my lips. This made helped the entire look come together and made my features pop.
