Let’s be real for a minute… I don’t actually “work out” that often. During the school year, I’m always so busy stressing over homework and when I do have some free-time the last thing I want to do is exercise. This summer, however, I would like to exercise more. And when I do have to have to participate in the miserable activity which is known as “working out”, I prefer looking cute while doing so!


MY FAVORITE ATHLETIC APPAREL:

Personally, I’ve always despised sneakers. I’m more into high heels or ballet flats, but I know that having good shoes that give good support are very important when working out! Plus, I have to admit these Pink & Purple “Nike Women’s Flex Run 2015 Running Shoes” are super cute! They just arrived in the mail a few days ago and I can’t wait to get some more use out of them!Screen Shot 2015-06-10 at 3.41.29 PM

I’m also really excited about Carrie Underwood’s new Athletic Apparel line called CALIA! I love everything about Carrie and am so happy with my new Essential Embossed Side Capris. They are so fashionable, really comfy and flattering, and are worth every penny! I will definitely be checking out more of her products soon!

I also really enjoy wearing my Mossimo Supply Co Yoga Pants from Target. They fit nicely and always have really fun designs! Plus, they’re only $15! What more could you ask for?

MY WORKOUT MAKEUP:

Since my cheeks will probable become more flushed after exercising, I opt for a subtle, yet moisturizing cream blush like the NYX Cream Blush in “Natural”.

I also like to use some BareMinerals Original Foundation when I exercise because it gives me a little bit of coverage, keeps my face matte, and most importantly allows my skin to breathe. It also has SPF 15 in it, so it protects your face from the sun if you’re exercising outdoors.

I like to use L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara whenever I workout so that it doesn’t smear.

I like to keep my makeup very minimal, so I make up for it by filling in my eyebrows with a matte brown eyeshadow.

I top off the whole look with a sheer, moisturizing pop of color on my lips. I really like the Maybelline Baby Lips and the L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks.


OTHER EXERCISE ESSENTIALS:

I’ve also been loving this Pink Sugar Hair Perfume! This fragrance mist smells just like the original Pink Sugar perfume, but it’s made specially to use in your hair. You just spray some in your hair (I always do my hair in a pony tail when I workout) and then enjoy the lovely smell all throughout your busy day!

It’s never a good idea to keep your makeup on after working out, so when I’m finished exercising, I like to use these Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to wipe all of my makeup off and prevent any breakouts.

Obviously, drinking water is always important, but it’s especially important when working up a sweat! I always find that I drink more water when I have a pretty water bottle. Lately I’ve been loving this one, which I bought at Typo a while back!
