Left to Right: Revlon Rose Glow Primer, L’Oreal ‘Light’ Glotion, MAC Face and Body in ‘C5’, Tarte Creaseless Concealer in ‘Light Sand’, MAC Strobe Cream in ‘Pinklite’, Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in ’01’, Pixi Glow-y Glossamer Duo in ‘Delicate Dew;

If you know me, then you know I love to look (probably a little too) dewy. Whether it is a metallic highlighter or a radiant foundation, a touch of glow adds a healthy effect that cannot be beat. Here are some of my most loved glow getters!

I have never been a big fan of primers but ever since my drugstore makeup haul, I have been loving the new Revlon PhotoReady Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer. Although the water-based serum looks pink in the bottle, it deposits a golden pearlescence to the skin that looks so healthy and radiant. I find that the oil beads uselessly cling to the skin rather than hydrate but I still like the glow this product provides.

I know that you are probably tired of hearing me rave about my recently purchased L’oréal True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer but it just makes me so happy! And isn’t that what makeup is for? Proving itself extremely versatile, this believable liquid highlighter adds the most lovely dewy sheen. ’Light’ is a stunning rose gold, free of any and all chunky shimmer.

Another product new to my collection, MAC Studio Face & Body Foundation is the ultimate glowy base! Because of my redness and breakouts, I was initially afraid this would not provide enough coverage and although it is very sheer, it is also very buildable. It mimics the finish of luminous bare skin without feeling sticky or greasy, and I rarely want to reach for anything else now.

Anyone with dry skin is familiar with the challenge of finding a concealer that is both full coverage and glowy. Luckily, the Tarte Creaseless Under Eye Concealer is her to save the day — and our makeup. With a hydrating formula, a thick, creamy texture, and a dewy finish, it ensures that my under eyes are concealed and highlighted while avoiding any crepiness,

If you want something a little more reflective than the Glotion but still don’t like visible flecks of shimmer, I recommend MAC Strobe Cream in ‘Pinklite’. It is almost colorless but looks amazing when patted along the cheekbones, inner corners, Cupid’s bow, and even the tip of the nose.

To simultaneously avoid any greasiness or any cakiness in the t-zone, I like to mix a tiny amount of my Essence Pure Nude Highlighter with my normal presser powder. Since it is only a barely-there sheen, his technique is the ideal compromise between function and style!

No matter how much I love that lit-from-within sheen, few things are more satisfying than an eye-catching powder highlighter. My Pixi Glow-y Glossamer Highlighter Duo in ‘Delicate Dew’ features an icy cool-toned pink and a gilded pinky-peach, the latter of which really completely my tan. This has a silky smooth formula with maximum glow!

What are your go-to products for an enviable glow?
