Few things embody Fall more than warm-toned eyeshadow and this season, I’ve fallen for the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in ‘St. Paul de Vence’ — a beautiful combination of a shimmering nectarine and a matte chestnut.

With sleek black packaging and a convenient mirror, this travel-friendly duo contains the prettiest and most practical combination of autumnal shades.

When I first used these shadows several years ago, I was disappointd in the quality because they were not as pigmented as I expected them to be; I had to use my fingertips and a creamy eyeshadow base or primer to achieve my desired color payoff. Now, however, I prefer to use a fluffy blending brush for the perfect wash of color.

Instead of using this duo by itself, I usually wear it in conjunction with other shadows. Because I have hooded eyes, I love to use the medium matte brown shade to carve out my crease and then add a pop of luminescent peachy-coral just above my crease. This technique enhances eye shape while looking beautiful in person and in photos.

If you love wearable and versatile eyeshadow in hues that mimic the crisp Fall leaves, then be sure to try ‘St. Paul de Vence’.

XOXO,
Makena
