MAC lipsticks are a cult classic for a reason and are one of my most favorite formulas on the market; if you would like to know how to get free MAC lippies, keep reading because I have an insider tip that not enough people know or talk about — the Back to MAC Program.

If you return six empty MAC primary packaging containers — lipstick tubes, eyeshadow and concealer pots, foundation bottles, powder compacts, etc. — you will receive a free MAC lipstick of your choice. Most of their lippies retail for $18.50.

You can pick any formula and shade you like, as long as it is not part of the Viva Glam collection, Make sure you test or research the shade in store first, as you cannot return or exchange them.

If you join the MAC Lover Loyalty Program, which is completely free, you can extend the Back to MAC program and receive your choice of not only lipstick but also a Lip Glass or a Single Eye Shadow. I have not tried their glosses, but as many of you know, I love their shadows.

This recycling program is such an incredible way to reduce waste, help the environment, save money, and be rewarded for customer loyalty.

The majority of my mom’s makeup collection is composed of MAC products and she was kind enough to let me use all of her empties (18 to be exact) to receive three free lipsticks. I repurchased ‘Velvet Teddy’, a deeper warm brown with a matte finish that looks incredible on so many different skin tones. I also picked up two shades I have always wanted to try. Half ‘n Half’ is the ideal medium pinky nude with an Amplified formula, meaning it is highly pigmented with a more smooth and shiny finish. Lastly, ‘Honeylove’ is a light beige with warm, peachy undertones and a matte finish. This one is great when I want a true nude lip.

I hope you found this blog post helpful! What are your favorite lipsticks to wear?
