One of my favorite ways to decompress on rainy Winter nights is to pamper myself with a little at-home spa routine. Today, I will be sharing some of my most-loved affordabe products in hopes of providing some inspiration for your skincare collection.
I have been using the St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub for years to transform my winter skin from dry and flaky to fresh and smooth. For only $4, this is great for intense exfoliation. I always use this once or twice a week in the shower before I go to bed and it feels so invigorating! This does have a rough consistency, so if you prefer a more gentle exfoliator, them check out the one below from LUSH.
Although the LUSH Oatfix Face Mask may not be the most photogenic face mask, it is a very effective one, and when my skin needs a pick-me-up, that is all that matters! After leaving this on my face for 15 minutes, the oats and banana really hydrate my dry, sensitive skin. When I rinse it off, the ground almonds gently exfoliate, leaving my face extra soft. I was pleasantly surprised at how many uses I got out of this container, so I definitely think it is worth the $10.
Whenever I want to spoil my skin, I always reach for the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask because it feels so luxurious and soothing. With a lightweight gel texture, this replenishes dehydrated skin overnight and locks in the moistuizer applied underneath. It leaves my skin feeling healthy and looking glowy while also ensuring that my makeup is as pretty as can be. For $25, this is truly a skincare game-changer and is perfect for an at-home spa night!
For those of you who have more oily skin or acne-prone skin, I recommend trying the Derma E Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask. For a deep-cleansing and detoxifying experience, spread a thin layer on your t-zone and then massage it off with warm water to exfoliate. This has helped improve the clarity of my skin when I am struggling with breakouts and I always feel so clean and fresh after I use this! It is absolutely worth the $20 price tag.
The LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub is a wonderful way to show your lippies a little love! With castor sugar and jojoba oil, this sweet tasting scrub completely eliminates all of the dead skin that prevent your lipsticks from looking their best. So many people exfoliate their face only to overlook their lips, but once you try this pretty pink scrub for $11, you will always make sure to pamper your pout!
At only $5, you truly cannot go wrong with the Aquaphor Healing Ointment. As I have mentioned before on my blog, I use this everyday to heal any dry patches, condition my lips, and strenghten my eyelashes. This is by far the most effective product I have tried and I love how moisturizing this feels. If you are looking for an effortless and affordable way to pamper yourself, please check this out. I promise you won’t regret it!
I hope this post gave you some helpful ideas for your next spa night! What are your favorite products to pamper yourself?
I love the St. Ives Apricot Scrub so much! I have been using it since my high school days and I haven’t really found anything quite nice as that one! But I am also a person of habit when it comes to skin care, so I don’t search out new stuff all the time. Love this post and your blog, it’s super cute and organized!
