One would think that a girl who loves pink would also love blush, but for me, that hasn’t always been the case. Although I will always be more of a bronzer girl at heart, blush doesn’t have to be obnoxious, overpowering, or reminiscent of Barbie and clowns. Here are five wearable blushes that have helped change my perspective.

For those of you who love bronzer and want to avoid bold colors as much as possible, the Burt’s Bees Blush with Vitamin E in ‘Toasted Cinnamon’ is the one for you. It is a beautiful warm tan shade ideal for medium to deep skintones. With a matte — but not flat — finish and a natural, clean formula, this blush is a wonderful option for anyone looking for a neutral look.

For only a few dollars, the Essence Satin Touch Blush in ‘Satin Love’ is sure to improve almost any makeup look. This warm-toned pinky-nude has the perfect amount of pigmentation and blendability with a shimmer-free sheen.

With its bright and shimmery peachy-pink hue, the NARS ‘Orgasm’ Blush definitely intimidated me at first. However, after trying this travel-sized version, I quickly understood why this is such a cult favorite: It adds a healthy glow and flush to the cheeks with just one swipe. I prefer wearing this shade on minimal makeup days to complement an othwerwise dull face of concealer, brows, mascara, and lip balm.

Last summer, I purchased the Ulta Beauty Peach Pop Blush Palette, and it is still one of my favorite makeup products. It contains six different blushes in both matte and shimmery finishes, with adorable peachy, coral, pink, and nude shades suitable for any eye look. This palettte absolutely screams summer, and I couldn’t love it more.

Last but certainly not least is the NARS Exposed Cheek Palette. This is the most loved and used product featured in today’s post, which you can probably tell based off the above picture. The nude, tan, coral, mauve, and pink shades are sheer but buildable with the most perfect shimmer-free sheen. This is honestly the best product on the market for achieving a subtle, lit-from-within glow.
