Using dozens of makeup products can be really fun and creative, but sometimes we don’t always have enough time or energy put on a full face of makeup and need something quick and easy to help enhance our own natural beauty. So in today’s post I will be sharing three different minimalist makeup ideas that can be customized to fit into your everyday makeup routine.

Look #1
{Concealer, Mascara, and a Lip and Cheek Product}

This is my personal favorite three product makeup look and I wear it is especially perfect for school when you only have a few minutes to get ready, but still want to enhance your features and look polished. I use concealer under the eyes and on blemishes whole still allowing my skin to shine through. Mascara is always a must-have for defining the eyes and it makes such a big difference! Personally, I prefer a lip gloss when I am only using three products because the extra shine makes my eyes pop and look more awake and fresh, but for the purpose of this post I decided to do something a little different. If you have an actual multi-purpose product  like a cheek and lip stain, then that would be ideal, but you can always use a cream blush on your lips or a lipstick on your cheeks!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara are great products for everyday use and the NYX Cream Blush in “Natural” is a really soft pink for the cheeks, but can also be patted on the lips.

Look #2
{Foundation, Bronzer, and Highlighter}

Whereas the last look highlights all of your features at the same time, the three products in this look focus on the skin. I love a light to medium coverage, dewy foundation for everyday. Bronzer is one of my favorite parts of doing my makeup and when you are not wearing many products, it adds so much more definition and warmth to your face. Whether you want to go for a natural lit-from-within sheen or a more noticeable shimmery glow, highlighter also enhances your skin and your favorite features. This perfect trio of products is simple, but it really enhances your skin and looks healthy, glow, and defined.

L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation, NYC “Sunny” Bronzer, and Hard Candy “Tiki” Highlighter are my favorite drugstore products for a healthy and more natural glow.

Look #3
{Mascara, Eyeliner, and a Matte Brown Eyeshadow}

This particular look is all about the eyes. Personally, I would rather focus more on my skin and just pop on some mascara, but if you are someone who does not want to wear any face makeup and prefers to draw all the attention to your eyes, then this will be quick and amazing! First, fill in your eyebrows with a matching matte eyeshadow and then blend that same product in the crease and outer corner of your eye. This will help frame your face and also help define your eyes. Next, apply your favorite eyeliner and mascara, and that is it! Your eyes will be as big, beautiful, and bright as ever!

I love the L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black and Telescopic Mascaras for adding extra length and volume, Almay’s Liquid Eyeliner in “Black” for precise definition, and neutral matte eyeshadows such as MAC’s “Charcoal Brown” for shaping brows and shading the crease.

Next time you are in a rush or want to look even more stunning than you already are but only want do a few steps, hopefully these three different minimalist makeup ideas will inspire and help you!

    I love the foundation, bronzer, and highlighter option! This is a really cool post idea, you know I’m all about easy makeup! I think I would probably do mascara, a powder foundation, and eyebrows since my eyebrows can look a bit sparse near the tails when they’re not done.

    • Thanks so much and I love easy makeup for school, too! Mascara is essential to me, I don’t even consider it makeup, haha! It’s interesting that you like powder foundation since your skin is dry like mine, so I’ll have to check the Sephora one you like out! xoxo

        My skin has so many dry patches that most of my liquid foundations stick to them and it doesn’t work but that powder foundation evens out my skin tone and never looks cakey at all. I make sure to moisturize before and usually finish with the Eau Thermale Avene facial mist but I don’t have any problems with it making my skin look dry.

        • I’ve never tried a powder foundation other than the Bare Minerals, but I’ll have to start experimenting more! Thanks for the tips!

            My skin must be more dehydrated than dry because I still get a bit oily in some places so powder foundations don’t dry me out too much. Make sure to avoid the ones that say matte in the name, the rest are friendlier for drier skin.

  2. This was such great idea inspo for school days!!! I love the idea of using 3 makeup products!! Natural and fast yet beautiful!! Love it!!
