Hey everyone and happy Friday! A few days after Jaclyn Hill uploaded her No Mirror Makeup Challenge, my friend Izzie came over to my house to hang out. We both love makeup and so I thought it would be fun and silly to to try out the No Mirror Makeup Challenge for ourselves. She loved the idea and since she recently created her very own lifestyle and beauty channel on YouTube she had the even more amazing idea of filming our challenge and uploading it to her own channel! And that’s exactly what we did!
We sat down on two chairs in my room, set up the camera, and filmed ourselves attempting (I’ll let you all be the judge of whether we failed or succeeded) to apply our makeup without the use of a mirror! It was honestly a ton of fun, which means that poor Izzie had to spend a ton of time editing and cutting out the parts where we were laughing uncontrollably! To be honest, I was a little nervous at first because I’ve never filmed myself for something like that before and I wasn’t sure how I would feel about being on the internet for everyone to see, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’m very proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone. And now all of you actually know what I look like!!!
