LIKE TO KNOW IT

Hello, everyone. As you read this, I will be on a long flight to London. I have never been there before but my parents and I are very excited. I thought this would be an amazing time to share the makeup I will be traveling with. Let’s get started!

Going on vacation means that I can finally use all of those samples I have collected, so in addition to bringing the Nuface Prep-N-Glow Cloths to cleanse and exfoliate my skin, I will also be using the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum to hydrate my skin and mix in with foundation for lighter makeup days. My go-to base for traveling is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream but I will also be trying out the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation, both of which are medium to full coverage and very long-lasting. Of course, I am bringing my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, my Tarte Creaseless Under Eye Concealer, and my Rimmel Translucent Stay Matte Powder. To ensure everything lasts well after my sightseeing is over, I packed the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray and the BareMinerals Dew Mist Setting Spray.TravelMakeupBagCheeksBecause I want to keep my makeup naturally glamorous for photos yet simple for rushed mornings, I did not pack many options for my cheeks. For contour, I will use my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer followed by my Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer in ’25I Soft Iridescent Cinnamon’ for an all-over glow. I opted for a matte mauve with the MAC Powder Blush in ‘Blushbaby’ and then a golden pop with Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in ‘Opal’.TravelMakTravelMakeupBagLipsupBageyes

Swatches from Left to Right: Rimmel ‘In the Nude,’ MAC ‘Bordeauxline,’ Kat Von D ‘Trooper,’ Hourglass ‘Reflect,’ Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Glisten,’ ‘Rose,’ ‘Birkin,’ and ‘Truffle’

I also went for a simple, neutral eye look, bringing my custom quad filled with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Shadow Singles in ‘Glisten,’ Rose,’ ‘Birkin,’ and ‘Truffle’. If I want a metallic pop of rose gold, I can use my Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow in ‘Reflect’ after filling in my brows with none other than the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo. For liner, I have the option of the Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer in ‘In the Nude’, the MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in ‘Bordeauxline’ — a stunning matte eggplant — and the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in ‘Trooper’ when I want a little feline flick. I also brought my tried and true Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and then the Ardell False Eyelashes in ‘Natural 172 Black’ if I want a more dramatic look.

Swatches from Left to Right: Laneige ‘Grapefruit,’ Sorme ‘Natural Nude,’ Bite ‘Madeira,’ NARS ‘Tolede,’ Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Vintage,’ Stila ‘Perla,’ Bite ‘Chai,’ Dior ‘999’

I was doing so well packing light until I reached the lippies; I brought a total of eight lip products but I think it is justified because five of them are travel-sized and both my makeup and outfits are relatively neutral. For the plane and before bed, I brought my new Laneige Glowy Lip Balm in ‘Grapefruit’. I brought one neutral lip liner to pair with my other products: Sorme Cosmetics Lip Liner in ‘Natural Nude’. For a paler nude, I can wear the Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in ‘Madeira’ and for my signature pinky tan shade, I can pair my NARS Satin Lipstick in ‘Tolede’ with this adorable Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in ‘Vintage’. To mix it up, I also packed Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in ‘Perla’ — a cool-toned dusty pink — and Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in ‘Chai’ — a deep rosy brown. I always bring what I like to call an “emergency red” because when you’re traveling, you never know when you might be underdressed or want to feel extra special. I chose this incredible Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick in ‘999’.
Do you think I brought too much makeup and is there even such a thing? If you are interested in seeing all that London has to offer, be sure to check out my Instagram stories for the next few days; in addition to my normal blog posts, I will be sharing lots of photos and maybe some makeup looks.
