CHEEKS

I have been talking about this product way too much lately, but my NYX Cream Blush in “Natural” is incredible for ‘no-makeup’ makeup looks becaise it melts into the skin and provides a soft, barely-there neutral rosey pink glow. This is the perfect product for beginners because it blends like a dream, but it is also great for a romantic Valentine’s Day flush! If you prefer powder formulas, the NYX Powder Blush in “Mocha” is an affordable alternative to Tarte’s “Blissful” Blush. It is a true bright pink color with a matte finish, bringing life to your skin whether you are barely wearing any makeup or wearing a full face. It is buildable, blendable, and long-lasting.

It can be challenging to find the right shade of pink for your skin tone, but my favorite true pink lipstick is definitely the NYX Round Lipstick in “Tea Rose”! Somehow, my lisptick tube was mislabeled as “Indian Pink” so I have been raving about the wrong shade for a while now, but “Tea Rose” is the most beautiful rosy pink with luminous sheen, ideal for a youthful yet wearable look for daytime. I would also recommend MAC “Cosmo” Lipstick if you want an even more wearable pink; this is a natural and muted rose shade with warm brown undertones. It is so pigmented and creamy, and I love how it looks in photos! For a more bold and glossy pink, my favorite is the Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm in “Pink Pout”. For only a few dollars, this moisturizing lip gloss has just the right amount of pigmentation to wear on its own or on top of a pink or nude lipstick.

EYES

The Urban Decay “Scratched” Eyeshadow is a cool-toned shimmery light pink, ideal if you have more fair skin and want a soft wash of pink on the lids. However, if you are like me and find it difficult to pull off this color on your eyes, then it also makes a stunning blush overlay or highlighter. It has the most beautiful sheen to dust over your favorite matte blush and works for a glowy pop on the top of your cheekbones, perfect if you want to tie your makeup look together with some subtle pink.
