Summer Fridays launched in 2018, and I’ve been loyal to the brand ever since. From the now-discontinued Overtime and R+R Masks to the iconic Lip Butter Balms that now dominate my collection, I can always trust the high-quality formulas to keep me glowing.
If you’ve been looking for a comprehensive guide to all things Summer Fridays, this is for you.

Super Amino Gel Cleanser | $35
A combination of more than 10 amino acids, this cleanser strengthens the skin barrier, balances PH levels and boosts hydration. It has a lightweight, foaming consistency that leaves skin feeling clean but not stripped.
CC Me Vitamin C Serum | $68
With vitamin C plus niacinamide, this serum aims to brighten dark spots and hyperpigmentation for a more even skin tone. I have never committed to incorporating vitamin C in my skincare routine, so I’m not the best person to review this because I don’t have anything to compare it to. I do, however, know that many vitamin C products smell bad, and this one didn’t, which I appreciated.
Jet Lag Mask | $49
I have repurchased the Jet Lag Mask at least five times over the years, and it is one of the most deeply hydrating products on the market. With niacinamide, glycerin, and hyaluronic acid, the thick, rich cream can transform even the driest skin. I also appreciate how versatile it is: In addition to serving as a daytime or nighttime moisturizer, it can be used as an overnight or 10-minute mask that can be rinsed off. Unfortunately, I have realized that shea butter can trigger my cystic acne and texture, so I’ve had to switch to using it as an eye and hand cream. If you aren’t acne-prone like me, I cannot recommend this enough.
Cloud Dew Gel Cream Moisturizer | $38
Because I eliminated shea butter from my routine, I switched to the brand’s gel moisturizer. Unlike the Jet Lag Mask, it’s a lightweight gel that easily absorbs into the skin and doesn’t have any ingredients that clog my pores. Although it’s ideal for combination and oily skin, I have dry skin and still love to incorporate it into my morning routine — especially because it creates a smooth, almost tacky base for makeup. I have repurchased this product several times, but I do wish it were more affordable because I go through it so quickly.
ShadeDrops SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen | $36
The ShadeDrops SPF breaks my heart just as much as the Jet Lag Mask. It is the absolutely best sunscreen formula I have ever tried. It is lightweight and hydrating, it doesn’t smell or irritate my eyes, and it wears beautifully under makeup. Unfortunately, this also has shea butter, so I didn’t repurchase it as much as I wanted to. Again, if you aren’t concerned about this ingredient, I 100% recommend this.
Sheer Skin Tint | $42
Shifting to makeup, the Sheer Skin Tint has the same weightless texture that made me fall in love with the sunscreen. As the name suggests, it is very light coverage that evens out the skin without covering anything up. I always reach for this on good skin days or for a beachy vacation makeup look. It is very hydrating and dewy, so if you have oily skin, I would opt for another formula, but if you have dry skin, you will love it. I wear Shade 4 and have purchased it several times.
Lip Butter Balm | $24
The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balms are one of the most popular formulas on the market for good reason. They have a more thin, lightweight consistency compared to other formulas, while still hydrating the lips with shea and murumuru seed butters. I reach for these when I want a high-shine look and a sheer color payoff, and I love pairing them with lip liners. I own Vanilla, Vanilla Beige, Iced Coffee, Toasted Marshmallow and Hot Cocoa.
I haven’t tried the new lip stains and lip liners, but thanks to the brand’s incredible recycling program, I can exchange five empties for a $25 gift card, so hopefully there will be some additions to my collection soon!
