One of the things I love most about makeup is its capability to instantly transform the way we feel about ourselves and if any brand knows how to accomplish this feat, it is Chanel. One quick glance at that signature pair of interlocking C’s is enough to make my day. So if you are in the mood to pamper yourself, then keep reading to learn more about my three favorite products from Chanel.
The Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base (review here) is one of the brand’s most acclaimed products, which is not surprising considering how luxurious its formula is. The medium warm brown shade adds instant warmth and definition to the cheeks and temples, and it honestly blends better than anything I have ever used, making it completely worth the price. I love how my skin looks naturally bronzed whenever I wear this and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves makeup.
Speaking of natural, the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen Makeup (review here) is the ultimate natural foundation for every day use. With a long-lasting, satin finish and a sheer, but buildable coverage, this base looks like a more flawless and healthy version of my real skin. I am obsessed with wearing this in the Summer because it is truly weightless and never looks cakey regardless of how many layers I apply.
Last Summer I purchased the Chanel Ombre Première Longwear Cream Eyeshadow in ‘Scintillance’ (review here), a gorgeous shimmery champagne with peachy undertones, and love it for both everyday and special occasion makeup. Because of their pigmented and blendable formula, along with the fact that they are best applied with fingers, these shadows are quick and easy to use. ‘Scintillance’ reflects the light beautifully and I love the way it looks all over the lid paired with a matte peachy-beige shade in the crease.
I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about my most loved makeup from Chanel. Which luxurious products are your favorite?
XOXO,
Makena
