Dior has quickly become one of my favorite beauty brands. I’ve tried five of their products, and I’m here to tell you what I think is worth the splurge.
+ Backstage Face & Body Foundation: If you buy one product from Dior, I recommend this one. I think this is a formula that would wear beautifully on almost everyone. It’s light-to-medium, buildable coverage with a natural, skin-like finish. The shade range is also amazing, especially if you have more neutral or olive undertones.
+ Addict Lip Glow in ’01 Pink’: I don’t know whether I would repurchase this because it is so expensive, but the formula is beautiful and buttery. Unlike the typical shades I wear, this one is a sheer, bright pink that I love layering over a nude lip liner. To be honest, I mostly bought this for the packaging and it’s not life-changing.
+ Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume HD Mascara: Although I prefer to save rather than splurge when it comes to mascaras, I love the concept of this tube: it’s made of a soft, rubbery material, so you can squeeze it to evenly coat the wand. The formula made my lashes long and voluminous but not clumpy.
+ Backstage Glow Face Palette in ‘Universal’: I’m still testing this out, but so far I am obsessed with the pink blush topper and champagne highlighter. The powders melt into my skin instead of sitting on top, and because they’re not too shimmery, they don’t emphasize texture. The silky smooth formula also works as eyeshadow, which is how I mostly use the white and bronze shades.
+ Forever Skin Correct Concealer: Do you have dry skin but love a more dewy under eye? Then this concealer is worth the splurge. It is hydrating but also full coverage, and it lasts all day.
