To celebrate my high school graduation, my incredible parents took me on a family vacation to Europe; our hotel in Paris was right next to the Sephora on the Champs Élyseés and as you can imagine, I practically lived there for the majority of our stay! After spending many hours drooling over the infinite isles of makeup, I finally decided to purchase a few luxurious items to add to my growing collection.
- Chanel Ombre Première Longwear Cream Eyeshadow in “Scintillance”: I have always wanted a light, rose gold-champagne cream eyeshadow and after swatching this new collection, I immediately tossed this beauty in my shopping bag. Here in the US, Chanel cosmetics are not sold at Sephora, but the Sephora stores in France have so many different brands, so in my makeup-obsessed mind, I just had to buy this exclusive item. I have not heard too much about these luxury eyeshadows other than from one of my favorite YouTubers, Kara Kendall, so I am looking forward to trying this stunning shimmery shade out and writing a review for you!
- Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer in “25I Soft Iridescent Cinnamon”: This bronzer has been at the very top of my makeup wishlist ever since Jaclyn Hill first started expressing her love for it, but I finally decided I was going to purchase it after my best friend bought it and I saw how glowy it made her cheekbones in person! This shade is a great warm tan for summer and although there is no visible shimmer in it, I tried it out in the store and it provided the most beautiful sheen I have ever seen in a bronzer. Stay tuned for a summer review on this, as well.
- BVLGARI Rose Goldea Eau de Parfum: I feel that it is a very Audrey Hepburn thing to do to purchase a new perfume every time I visit Paris so that I can always return to the special memories of strolling the streets of the city (and the isles of Sephora). Last time I went to Paris, I purchased the Lolita Lempicka Sweet perfume, but this time I chose this beautiful BVLGARI fragrance, which is currently unavailable in the US. It smells like roses and grapefruit, which I love for Spring and know will always remind me of the beautiful rose gardens my family and I visited in Europe and the many glasses of grapefruit juice I enjoyed.
- Chanel Compact Mirror Duo: I actually purchased this at a Chanel boutique while I was in Paris, but since it is still a high-end investment, I thought I would still include it in this post. I strongly believe that every girl needs a dependable compact mirror to keep in her purse at all times, and I cannot think of anything more classy than pulling out this timeless black and white mirror to apply your lipstick! I also love that one side is a normal mirror while the other is a magnifying one, and I saved $10 by purchasing it in France. Can we please take a moment of silence to appreciate the gorgeous Chanel packaging?
Thank you so much for reading and please let me know which of these beauty products you would most like to see me review!

Everything is so beautiful ahhh, I love seeing what makeup bloggers purchase in different countries because such different products are offered in each and a vacation purchase is always special. I’m very excited to see the review on the Chanel eyeshadow and how gorgeous is that compact mirror?! I hope you had tons of fun in Paris and congratulations on your graduation!
Thank you so much for this comment, it made me soo happy when I read it!! That is literally exactly what I was thinking when I bought makeup in France, especially when it came to drugstore makeup which I will write about later. The review will be up very soon and I am obsessed with the mirror. Paris and the rest of my Europe trip was incredible snd thanks sooo much, Sofia!
I’m so excited to see your drugstore purchases, Paris definitely has a ton of amazing drugstore makeup and skincare!
Yes! I looked in all the pharmacies and couldn’t find any good drugstore makeup brands, but finally found the perfect store and it honestly made my trip. xoxo
