With summer approaching, more and more of you will be traveling and spending much more time on planes than usual. Although it is beneficial to give your skin a break, I know many people like to wear makeup on the plane so today I am sharing the makeup look I wear when traveling. As I mentioned in my last post, I am currently on a family trip to London and loved this look turned out; it incorporates quick and easy to use, hydrating products and can be applied either before getting on the plane or before landing to help you look your best when you arrive at your destination.

Achieving a natural looking tan is high on my list of pre-vacation priorities not only because I want to look like a bronzed summer goddess but also because it makes me feel more confident sans makeup. The  Coola Sunless Tan Anti-Aging Face Serum* is my favorite for a believable glow and it has lots of additional benefits for the skin.

We all know how drying airplanes are so replenishing our skin’s moisture is key. The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask has a lightweight gel texture and a fresh, relaxing scent for incredible results; I can truly see and feel the difference this makes in my skin.

Concealer is a necessity for me, as I feel so much better when I minimize and discoloration and blemishes. I love using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Concealer in ‘Light/Medium’ to spot conceal. The coverage is really great, it lasts a very long time, and there is a hydrating balm in the center of the stick to prevent my skin from getting any dry patches.

Cream contouring is one of my most favorite makeup techniques so for an effortless look, I went in with my L’oréal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer in ‘Medium/Deep Neutral’. It blends beautifully and adds just the right amount of definition to my cheekbones, jawline, and temples.

I love a soft pop of color for these types of makeup days, as it makes me seem more fresh and vibrant. The Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in ‘Pinched’ has always been a favorite because it is so easy and quick to use.

When I opt for a barely-there makeup look like this one, brows are always an important step; they frame my face and contribute to a more put together effect. I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in ‘Soft Brown’ for a quick touch up.

No one ever wants clumpy, spider-like eyelashes, especially when wearing minimal face makeup. To avoid that undesirable look, I like to use the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara because it makes my eyes look wide awake with long, soft lashes.

To heal chapped lips and add a pink tinted sheen for a healthy, plump appearance, I use my new Laneige Glowy Lip Balm in ‘Grapefruit’ — a very invigorating scent.

For a TSA approved, on-the-go friendly boost of moisture, I’ve been using the Evian Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray*. I spritzed it onto my face countless times during the flight and have been keeping it my purse the entirety of the trip to refresh my makeup amidst the cold London weather.

When in doubt, always bring makeup wipes. If, like me, you decide once you get on the plane that wearing makeup was not the best idea for your acne-prone skin, then you can wipe it all away. I always use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes but anything works.

Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to didn’t time with me. I hope this post is useful for the next time you go on a vacation.
