Although they are incandescent and enthralling, the isles upon isles of makeup at Sephora can be overwhelming and disheartening due to the elevated prices. Luckily, however, luxury does not necessitate expensive. Today, I am sharing a lovely little makeup look for Spring that is composed entirely of affordable products. If you are after a full face of makeup for under $50, then please keep reading.
To perfect my complexion, I enjoy using the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation ($14) for medium coverage and a naturally luminous satin finish. To highlight and conceal, I apply my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ($6) under my eyes and around the center areas of my face.
Since I want this to be a minimal look, I am opting for a rosy flush rather than a bronzed or higlighted cheek. The Milani Powder Rose Blush in ‘Romantic Rose’ ($7) is such a gorgeous matte mauve with neutral undertones and really ties all of the makeup together. I am always so impressed with Milani’s blushes and this one is as silky and pigmented as ever.
For a simple shadow, I will blend the Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in ‘Bella Cappuccino’ ($5) through my crease, outer corner, and lower lash line. The cool-toned satin beige adds depth and dimension to my eye shape. For an effortless yet edgy twist, I use the Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather 24 HR Eyeshadow in ‘Chocolate Suede’ ($6) — a deep brown with a slightly shimmery, rosy hue — on an angled liner brush to create a very thin and sharp cat eye. I lightly smudge the edges for a soft and diffused effect with maximum definition. I complete the look with several coats of the L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara ($8).
Lastly, I am going to go in with my Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Lipstick in ’08’ ($4), a lovely neutral rose color that perfectly complements my cheeks.
I hope you enjoyed this drugstore makeup look? What are your favorite budget beauty products?
XOXO,
Makena
