Welcome to the first day of my 12 Days of Christmas 2016! Last year, I wrote 12 beauty and/or holiday-related posts on my blog throughout the month of December similar to Beauty Blogmas, and that is exactly what I will be doing this year, so please let me know if you have specific requests! To kick of this special series, I will be discussing my favorite beauty products of November…
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in “Seduction”: This has been my favorite lip product this month, not only because of the perfect nudey pink color for my tan skintone, but also because of the hydrating and velvet-matte formula. I could not imagine anything more perfect for Autumn and Winter, and my next post will be a review, so stay tuned!
Too Faced Kabuki Brush: For whatever reason, my T-zone has been more oily than usual this month and this little twist-up brush is ideal for on-the-go powder touch-ups. Honestly, at $34, this was overpriced and although it is literally the softest brush I have ever felt in my life, you do not need it in your collection since there are plenty of more affordable retractable brushes out there that do the same thing. Regardless, I have been loving mine the past month!
Bare Minerals Flawless Face Brush: I got this mini brush in a Starter Kit a few years ago and have been loving it ever since for applying my bronzer and blending out my contour. It is more thin and elongated while still being very fluffy, so it is the perfect tapered shape and size to fit under my cheekbones and on my forehead! This brush feels like it was made specifically for my face and I love the gradient-effect it helps me achieve! What is your favorite bronzer brush?
MAC Studio Finsh SPF 35 Concealer: This is a thick, full-coverage cream concealer that I have used these past few weeks to cover up pimples. It is probably unsanitary, but I have had this same pot for forever and just hit pan because you only need the tiniest bit to cover redness that would usually take layers of regular concealer. I find that normally when I blend out my concealer after my foundation, it just blends away and the blemish still shows, but that is not the case with this one.
Lolita Lempicka ‘Sweet’ Perfume: This is probably my signature perfume from Paris, perfect for Winter with sweet and sophisticated chocolate and cherry scents. That description does not serve this fragrance justice, but it is so unique for all ages and it lasts so long. This scent just makes me ready for Christmas!
XOXO,
Makena

Aw thank you!! I’m so excited to read all of your new posts! This month I’m determined to become better at taking photos, I really love the photos in today’s post so I’m off to a good start!
I love your Blogmas so much! Mine didn’t turn out so well because my Chritmas break started only 2 days before Christmas so I couldn’t post before because of finals. So as you can tell, amy 12 Days of Christmas have been after Christmas, haha! And your photos have improved soo much lately, they are perfect! I love doing flatlays, but it has beeen so cloudy all month and I just cannot get my backgrounds white enough:( Beauty blogger problems, lol! xoxo
Yeah I tried my best to post every day but sometimes I just couldn’t keep up haha. Thank you, I’ve been working a lot harder on my photos lately!
Great favourites! The Revlon lipstick sounds nice. It’s a lovely colour as well 🙂
