If you love a classic cat eye and youthful, lifted face makeup, then these ten tips are for you! This look is soft and wearable, timeless and easy — perfect for everyday glam, special occasions, and everything in between.

• Apply concealer on the inner and outer corners of the eye, blending the outer corner upward and outward. In addition to preventing me from applying too much product, this also counteracts any discoloration and creates the illusion of an instant face lift.
• Add winged liner for a cat-eye effect. I have found that brown eyeshadow is not only softer and more wearable but also much easier to apply than the typical black eye liner. I always bring my eyeliner in to the inner corner to balance out my almond eyes, but you can also line only the outer corner. If you are struggling to find the right angle for the wing, imagine you are connecting the bottom of your lower lash line to the tail of your brow. For an even softer effect, start by making the wing smaller than you want it to be and drag it out with a Q-tip.
• These techniques work well with a variety of eyeshadow looks, but I like to keep it simple, sweeping a neutral matte shade or even my bronzer toward the tail of my brow for added definition.
• After eyeshadow, I create a sharper, cleaner look by applying a loose powder to the outer corner, angling it upward and outward under the wing. A flat-edged beauty sponge makes this step easy, and it makes a big difference in terms of precision. You can also do a similar technique using concealer.
• For a feathered brow look, I brush and set my brows upward and outward. This instantly makes my brows look more full, youthful , and natural, and it is also far less time consuming than filling them in and carving them out.
• I always curl my eyelashes, as it makes them look longer and me look more awake.
• For a more feline effect, focus the mascara on the outer corner of the eye rather than the middle or inner portion.
• If you prefer fake eyelashes, you can choose a pair that is longer on the corner, cut them in half and only use the outer corner, or glue the outer corner slightly higher than your natural lash line for a cat-eye effect.
• Apply bronzer, blush, and highlighter slightly higher above the cheekbones, angling them toward the temples.
• Apply the same loose powder as before underneath your contour for more precise and defined cheekbones.
