One of the things I love about makeup is that I have the option to use any color I want, completely transforming the whole look, so I thought I would start a new series on my blog where I talk about my favorite makeup products for each color! Peach has always been one of my favorite shades to wear for makeup because it brightens and enhances my features and helps create such a youthful and fresh glow, so today’s post will be dedicated to all of my top peach products!
Peach is my all-time favorite color for blush, so it was difficult to choose only three, but eventually I managed to narrow it down the highest quality and most stunning shades! Of course, I cannot talk about peach makeup products without talking about one of the most famous blushes ever, Milani Baked Blush in”Luminoso”! I know you have probably heard it about a hundred times now, but in case you somehow missed it, “Luminoso” is a very pigmented, high quality true peach shade with the perfect amount of finely-milled shimmer, which creates a beautiful peachy glow! Next we have my personal favorite, the Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush in “I Will Always Love You”, which I reviewed in detail here. It is a “gilded peach” shade with more coral and less shimmer than “Luminoso” and I absolutely love the stunning healthy sheen that it brings to my cheeks when I wear it. This is by far my most beloved peach makeup product and it is 100% worth the high-end price tag! The last blush that I will be talking about is the Revlon Photo Ready Cream Blush in “Pinched”, which is another lovely peach option for those of you who prefer cream blushes. There is no shimmer, but it does leave behind a very natural yet dimensional glow, which I love for everyday.
Peach lip products can truly transform any makeup look, so I have picked out my two favorites for you. I received a mini size of the Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-Gloss in “202 -Sweet Pink” in my Sephora Paint It Pink Value Set and it is a true sheer peachy lip gloss with the most incredible shine! For lipstick, I have chosen Wet n Wild’s MegaLast Lip Color in “Just Peachy”, a matte pinky peach shade, which would look beautiful in the summer especially.
I realize that peach eyeshadows are not for everyone, but I love them and think they are very versatile. To my disappointment, the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette is not on this list currently, since it is still sold out, but I am sure that it would be if I had it. However, one eye product that I do own is the “Fair and Square” Eyeshadow Quad by Sonia Kashuk. The shade on the top left is a mostly matte true peach shade while the one on the bottom left is a shimmery peachy nude shade. Honestly, these shadows are not very pigmented, but if you do work with them a little more and build them up, they are really nice and wearable peach shades.
Hopefully this post gave you some new ideas for products to add to your collection of peach makeup or some helpful tips if you want to start incorporating more peaches into your everyday makeup routine!
